Megan Jones, MSW, LSWAIC

Megan Jones, MSW, LSWAIC is a Seattle-based medical social worker with years of experience working in hospice and end-of-life care. Megan is a Michigan native and attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master of Social Work in Clinical Social Work with a focus on gerontology.Currently, Megan works for a hospice agency as their Bereavement Program Coordinator. In this role, she provides grief counseling, support, and resource referrals to the loved ones of patients who have passed away on hospice services. She has also worked as a hospice social worker visiting patients where they call home. Her practice is guided by the network of resources available to help individuals navigate end-of-life care and maintaining the socioemotional wellbeing of the patients and families she serves.
